I have irregular bowel movements all the time. this has been going on for years. my doctors have done the usual checks and given laxatives but nothing works long-term. i think i have a tear or kink in my colon, how do i get this sorted please advise?

You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. If you feel you have a mechanical issue with your colon, consult a colorectal surgeon & have a colonoscopy performed. For people who have little urge for BM's, I advise taking senokotS daily according to instructions. If there's the urge& you can't move, work from below using gylcerin or dulcolax rectal suppositories, or fleets enemas.
