In my daughter's medical records from her tonsil surgery it says "malignant tumor of the posterior tonsillar pillar" i called the dr and he was very rude. there is also no pathology. is this a common mistake? should i have her seen?

I would definitely have her seen. When you say there is no pathology, do you mean there was no pathology report associated with the medical record? You need to get a copy of the pathology report and slides- if you have no satisfaction from the doctor who did the biopsy have her seen by another doctor. It would be rare but not unheard of to have a tumor in that region at her age.

Definitely worth clarifying. Best would be through your daughter's pediatrician (during postop followup), who can request records and/or connect with ENT or pathology if needed.
