I got allergy testing today but some of them are super swollen that hurt specially cat hair and dog since they were right next to each other. what can i take for the swelling and itching?

A topical lotion with an antihistamine and calamine found over the counter often provides relief. If the swelling does not subside quickly, hydrocortisone is often effective. Since the test appears to have revealed a significant reaction to cat and dog allergens, it is best to avoid these potential allergic triggers. Watch for signs of infection and please follow up with your Allergist.
