Children have a robust immune system that is challenged daily by dozens if not hundreds of germs from finger to mouth activity. By adulthood, this stops and challenges decline. This may explain why kids are less effected by covid-19 and chickenpox. I know of 21-year old's that died with chickenpox. There is a vaccine that most kids received in the US when you were young, if not, you can get it.
