It was surgically implanted for a purpose, and I doubt that the purpose disappeared, however the reason for removal it has to be done by a medical personel do not remove it yourself.

If you mean a freestyle libre 2, then that can just be ripped off after it expires in 14 days. It is held to your skin with tape.
