Cystolitholapaxy 4 days ago. about 30 bladder stones removed. procedure was outpatient. today, i passed two large blood clots and a 3rd just now. is this expected? im afraid to drink water! can a blood clot block my urethra? i am me thanks?

Blood clots can block the urethra. Drinking plenty of water after the procedure is important in preventing clots from doing so. Drink at least 8 glasses of liquids per day. Call your urologist if you can't void, develop fever, abdominal pain or continue to bleed briskly.

Yes this happens sometimes. Please drink lots of water If you do that all clots will pass. But please let your urologist know whats happening. Good luck
