A member asked:

Is menopause gradual? my periods are typically every 28-30 days, for my entire life. for the last few months, they are about every 33-34 days. will they just gradually keep spacing out like this? i don't have any menopause symptoms at all?

Your ovaries at this age are declining and function/hormone production is as well. Your periods will continue to space out and "skip" but, beware and continue contraception if you are sexually active as there may be one more egg "shot of the cannon" by the ovaries resulting in a "oops" pregnancy if unprotected.

Yes it is in most people. I think you should see your Gyn for an exam and advice - for periodic exam at your age is needed. Good luck
