10wks ago transversely oriented fracture through the waist of scaphoid, its been demobilized. now ct scan revealed: bulk of the fracture plane has healed with solid osseous union(estimate 80-85%).can i remove the soft-cast and start rehab if no pain?

You need to speak with the orthopedist treating you before discontinuing your cast.

You should follow the direction of the treating orthopaedic surgeon regarding discontinuing or stoppping the immobilization. Having said that, the CT scan results that you have described are very encouraging and suggest your scaphoid fracture will go on to healing without surgical intervention.
