Muscle twitching on right side of neck where it meets shoulder, no pain. the only thing i did the day before was clean. nothing different. i can feel it almost fluttering. when i put my hand on it i can feel the twitches against my hand. worrisome?

Localized muscle twitching can be caused by overuse of a muscle group especially if the activity was out of the ordinary. I think this is a benign situation that will resolve.on its own. Abstain from caffeine in the meantime. See your physician or a neurologist as needed.

Agree with Dr. Colantino. You may use warm compresses to soothe the muscles. If symptoms persist more than one week, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
