Magnesium citrate calms me down. my serum level is always 1.9 on the lower end. i heard glycinate calms you more but then read some people get anxious with glycine. is glycine inhibitory to adrenaline/ noradrenaline? or does it stimulate it?

Be advised that the extracellular level of magnesium doesn't necessarily reflect the intracellular magnesium level.but measuring intracellular magnesium is mainly done in research labs. Magnesium glycinate is felt to cause less diarrhea but basically has similar effects to magnesium oxide.
