A member asked:

Can i get an mr angiogram instead of a ct angiogram for diagnosing myocardial ischemia? because ive had about 9 x-rays and ive had 4 ct scans of the abdomen and pelvis in the past year?

MR angiogram of the coronary vessels can be done but the images are not as good as CT angiogram because of lungs and heart' motions. You should have stress echo or nuclear stress test to detect ischemia first. If test is (+) next step should be coronary angiogram not CT or MR angiogram.
