A member asked:

Exactly what does it mean when ct results conclude colitis involving cecum, ascending and most of transverse colon in patient with crohn's? i have had crohn's for 40 years, have had one resection at ileum?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It means you have inflammation in more then half of your proximal colon probably starting at anastomosis and going distally. You need to see gastroenterologist for work up including labs, stool and colonoscopy to adjust therapy if necessary
