It is best to not miss any doses, but one day should not have long term consequences. I agree that you will need regular evaluation, including chest imaging and sputum analysis. Watch for weight loss, cough with blood streaks and shortness of breath. Co-infections may occur and these remain a consideration. Your infection is treatable, but it will take some time. Eat well, stay well hydrated.
