My 9yr girl had spinalcord mri showing a shadow. thought tethered spinalcord syndrome, not it. specialist won't talk because it isn't her field. neurosurgeon dr. jenny souster to explain and book a procedure but has canceled 2x's. any ideas? please?

It’s impossible to interpret images without obtaining the full clinical context. It would be best to check in with your pediatrician, while rescheduling with your neurosurgeon.

Would strongly urge further discussion with your neurosurgeon, as it appears that she has some knowledge regarding the situation. Here at HT, we might be able to analyze the situation via a virtual consult (www.connect@healthtap.com), but have films available if you choose this path.
