If you have fever, blood in stool, or severe belly pain you must get seen by a doctor. Otherwise, hydrate with pedialyte and take OTC Imodium. If symptoms do not improve in 48hr, get seen.

Be sure to keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids-dehydration is a complication of having a lot of diarrhea. Are the stools bloody? If so, you should be evaluated in the emergency room to check your blood counts and to get diagnosed and treated. If the diarrhea is non-bloody, drink plenty of fluids and eat a bland diet. Call your doctor in the morning if it doesn’t stop by then.
