Getting sharp jabs in right flank area, happens about 10 x a day, have no urinary symptoms or fever or other symptoms, also threw out my lower back so was barely able to stand up straight for few days, getting better, could this be kidney problem?

Your symptoms are not consistent with a urinary tract condition, more like from your back muscles and/or spines.
