I have had what i think is a mucocele on my lower lip for years now. it's also quite large. no one seems to know who i should see to have it removed. my oral surgeon would not. i would like to get rid of it, as i have difficulty speaking sometimes?

You should have the lesion properly diagnosed. Not sure why your oral surgeon would not remove it. My suggestion is you see a hospital based oral pathologist.

Seek a second opinion from another Oral Surgeon or an Oral Pathologist. Your dentist should be able to provide you with referrals.
