Mindfulness meditation has been shown to help mental endurance . Also, learning any new skill. a new language , playing a musical instrument, games like Sudoku, crossword puzzles , exploring new hobbies, all help to stimulate the brain. Along with all this, regular physical exercise and a healthy diet, is important for good brain health. Good luck .

Old rule: "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind". So a combination of aerobic exercise, and meditation will de-stress and allow clarity and focus. Dietary measures would include avoidance of "white" offenders, sugar, rice, bread. If tough to get fully to where you wish, could add biofeedback to enhance self control and confidence.
