A member asked:

Do you need to get the gardasil vaccine if you're not sexually active?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: At 34 years of age, you will not qualify for insurance coverage under the recommended guidelines for the vaccine to be given. Current recomendations are for ages between 9-26 so the vaccine will hopefully be given before the patient becomes sexually active. If you personally never intend to become active, then there is no need for the vaccine.
