Expiration dates indicate that a medication will start to lose effectiveness. It will not harm you but may not be as effective. Gas X is useful for counteracting excess gas production. Take a probiotic with fiber for soft stool. Benadryl is a good occasional medication for problems sleeping, but you should talk to your Dr about the cause of your insomnia and ways to manage bedtime routines.
