Recurrent depressive disorder means there are episodes of depression with non-depression in between the depression episodes. Persistent depressive disorder mens that there is depression that is not happening in episodes and it is not going away. Both can be treated by a psychiatrist so please seek help if you are experiencing either of these depression types. Best of luck to you!!
