A member asked:

My baby has redish skin on the back of his head and he also has something like a marble at the back of his head in the skin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is a common birthmark called the storks kiss that appears as dilated capillaries near the top of the skin , most often in the midline at the nape of the neck or above. It often persists through life but will be covered by hair growth. The "marbles" are usually normal lymph nodes that sift germs from the body serum.
