A member asked:

Had a ct scan because of headaches. all good. said nothing to worry sbout.now they what a mri but expect to see nothing . im a worried to death. theyre doing with and without contrast. so worried. why both?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Small intracranial lesions will not always show up on an MRI without contrast. If both tests have your physician saying "nothing to worry about", and you are still concerned, obtain a second opinion with another neurologist/neurosurgical physician.
