Classical migraine headaches do cause auras, and a feature is often aphasia. Dysphrenia hemicrania transitoria is the term for the "brain fog" which can also occur. If you take birth control pills and smoke, this elevates risk of stroke. Your problems can be prevented; see an experience neurologist and get proactive.
