I've been sick for the past 3 weeks. within the past few days i've been feeling a lot better, but i have this slight soar throat that doesnt seem to wanna leave. ive used many over the counter medicines but nothing has worked. should i see a doctor?

Hello - I have a large left tonsil, mild soreness & mild ear pain for over 3 months. I had a head & neck MRI 5 months ago all fine then. Dentist said yesterday tonsil looked ok but was large and to see my doctor, now Im worried it could be cancer?
