Transient improvement with azithromycin (Z-pak) suggests infection other than yeast. Most cultures do not show the bacteria that often cause discharge, e.g. bacterial vaginosis (especially if you have odor). Azithromycin doesn't treat yeast, in fact can make it worse. Contrary to popular belief, yeast infections usually cause little or only scant discharge. See a gynecologist soon. Good luck.
