Why fret about a brain tumor when you have had 2 normal CAT scans? However, if you are indeed worried, discuss this with your doctor, and decide the next step. If concern interrupts your quality of life, suggest counseling, and perhaps engaging in cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Yes, it is possible for a brain tumor to form over that time period. I would not “expect” one too, unless there is a good underlying suspicion for one, such as a new change in mental status or a new physical problem such as something related to a neuromuscular change. Also without a history of known cancer… this would be low on my list. Ask yourself, “is there a reasonable reason for concern?”
