Eye cellulitis, er said its mil, sent home with oral antibiotics. had now fever initially. now that she had her first dose , shes got a fever. at another er now. could this progress to meningitis quickly? how long would it take for that potential?

Meningitis very unlikely, especially if an appropriate antibiotic. But do have close followup with ophthalmologist, and stay on top of her symptoms. Should start to do far better by 5-7 days, so, do not worry unless things get more intense, and new symptoms develop.
