Fever is often a sign of infection. You just have to watch for other associated symptoms and you can have covid test done if you think you are at risk; however, negative test does not rule out the infection though. For fever above 101 and you feel malaise, you can take acetaminophen (Tylenol) 650 mg-1,000 mg every 6-8 hours as needed.
