A member asked:

Should i worry if nonspecific scattered bifrontal foci of white matter t2 hyperintensity without enhancement could be seen in the context of microangiopathy, gliosis, demyelination or adem that was found on a recent mri scan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your description of MRI findings is not bothersome, as these nonspecific T2 lesions can be seen with smoking, prior head injury, aging, and migraine besides some of the conditions you have listed. Such images require clinical correlation, so, meet with your doctor and discuss the significance. Whether you "should...worry" is not confirmed by the films!
