A member asked:

I have an ovarian cyst. why does it hurt some days and other days it doesnt hurt?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian cysts swing from the pedicle (attachment) where the ovary itself is moored. Once the cyst reaches a certain size it can swing from on place in the pelvis freely to another impacting other pelvic structures causing intermittent pain or pressure.
