Facial flushing is not a well known side effect of Ampicillin.

Monitor temperature and breathing. Consider a COVID 19 screening test. A penicillin allergic reaction is less likely. Watch for signs of hives, trouble swallowing and itching. If there is a concern that you may be experiencing an allergic reaction, please see urgent care and keep an antihistamine available.
