Because Naltrexone is used off label in children, there are not enough good studies to indicate appropriate levels of monitoring. Depending on the childs age, diagnoses, and other medical conditions, during the initial titrating period, careful monitoring should focus on liver enzymes and kidney function. The prescribing Dr will reccomend a specific regimen of testing to follow these parameters.
