A member asked:

Is low dose naltrexone 4.5mg (ldn) of any benefit in ibd as an off-label use obtained from a compounding pharmacy as an immediate release form? thank

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: The research that has been done shows that a little more than 50% of patients had some relief from low dose naltrexone. However, obtaining this from a compounding pharmacy without working with your doctor is not advised.
