Fluttering in your chest can be due to an arrhythmia, anxiety, too much caffeine, and several other causes. See a Dr in person and get a thorough examination to determine what is going on.

Try to reduce the amount of caffeinated drinks during the day, move last meal at least 2 h from bedtime, no alcohol, if applicable for few days. Your symptoms do suggest arrhythmia that triggers anxiety/panic. If symptoms persist in spite of lifestyle changes see you doc.

If you're adept at checking your pulse you can determine if you're experiencing arrhythmia' s if the heart rate is over 100 per minute and if the pulse is irregular. Either of these findings would necessitate a workup including a cardiac examination, EKG, wearing an outpatient Holter Monitor & checking thyroid status. Your MD or a cardiologist can advise you.
