So i cant empty my bladder after im done urinating. push & push/strain. little bits come out could last for an hour. does this sound like something that requires a cystoscopy? is there any other tests that could be ordered thats not so invasive?

Perhaps the urologist is planning to perform urodynamic testing on you. I don't think a simple cystoscopy is going to answer why you're experiencing incomplete bladder emptying or urinary retention. . A mechanical obstruction or other bladder pathology is unlikely in your case as a neuromuscular explanation is more likely. Ask your urologist for more information.

An ultrasound of the bladder before and after peeing would likely confirm what you are telling us not likely to find the cause. Let us know what they find.

You should see a Urologist and let her/him decide what needs to be done.
