Can an acute gastritis attack cause stomach to swell? what may be causing the dull stitch or irritation im still feeling in one spot in my lower ribs? it has been 10 days since acute portion but only been in treatment 3 days. doesnt seem muscular?

Push in and out on rib cage in that area to see if it might be inflammation of ribcage/ribs/sternum.

Bloating isn't a classic symptom of acute gastritis but can occur. Stomach discomfort can be felt in the upper abdomen under the left lower rib cage. Treatment length is often 10-14 days.
