There was gas in the stomach or the intestines which blocked the view of the pancreas. The Pancreas is best seen in a CT. I am not suggesting you need a CT, but rather I would defer to the doctor who ordered to ultrasound. Here are unanswered questions: why was the ultrasound ordered, what symptoms or abnormal objective findings do you have
