A member asked:

Can rabies vaccines cause als in the near or far future in a person who has got the vaccine many times? i have read reports of couple of cases of als from taking the gardasil vaccine. can rabies vaccine do the same?

There is ABSOLUTELY NO evidence that any vaccine can cause ALS, or any variant of motor neuron disease. The precise cause of ALS may rarely be genetic, but no clue regarding cause of vast majority of cases, otherwise. (This does not apply to Guillain-Barre, which has no relationship to ALS!)
