I recommend you invest the $ in a trial of uptodate.com and read all about this issue then discuss with your Dr. who knows about rabies in NJ. It is very unlikely from what I can read but do not know the details of your own and your family history of ALS, MS, Lupus, and other autoimmune diseases. Please discuss with a local expert.

There is NO known cause and effect of vaccines, boosters, or even prior rabies exposure and the eventual development of ALS, MS, or other neurological conditions. Your description of 21 doses over 10 yrs makes you, however, an exceptional individual who would be reassured by an infectious disease specialist consultation.
