It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may take acetaminophen, no more than 4 gm in one day, no alcohol. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Pain from the groin does not radiate to the heel, only to the thigh area. If you have pain from your buttock which travels down to the heel you may have sciatica which is a common problem. If that is the case, you can take Ibuprofen OTC 200 mg x 2-3 tablets with food, q 6 hrs as needed for a couple days if you are healthy and use a firm mattress for sleep.
