Valium is a controlled substance never safe in the long run and specific antibiotics are recommended for documented infections per current guidelines. Your GP will likely make recommendations for your diagnosed conditions that may or may not include prescriptions for requested meds.

As a rule, a doctor will not prescribe medications on demand. Doctors prescribe treatments for a specific diagnosis. There are certain unscrupulous individuals who will prescribe inappropriately; you will want to steer clear of these special folks.
