Since the 1990's, scattered reports of cognitive issues, spinal cord inflammation, and emotional problems have been noted. A variety of large and small fiber neuropathies also appear associated, but mechanism not fully understood. There are medications to treat hepatitis C, but these may not necessarily reverse prior damage. Would have a specialist in liver disease get involved (hepatologist).
