I had chlamydia and gon couple months ago & got it cleared up i recently got tested two weeks after new partner is that to soon to test for an infection? my results came back negative with urine and swab would that be accurate? or could it be to soon?

The reason to delay retesting to 3+ weeks is that false positive results are possible. However, a negative result any time after treatment is completely reliable. You're cured. However, standard advice is that you should be retested once more 3-4 months after treatment. This detects reinfection, which is quite common for both chlamydia and gonorrhea. Better safe than sorry!

Yes it should be. Pl use prophylaxis to avoid this kind of worry
