Is paracetamol a pain medicine used for pain caused by osteoarthritis? is it more effective than mobic?

Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like meloxicam (Mobic®) usually are more effective than acetaminophen (paracetamol, trade name Tylenol® and others). However, NSAIDs have more frequent and sometimes more severe side effects. Discuss with the doctor treating your osteoarthritis. Good luck.
