I spoke to dr. goldenberg last night and forgot to ask for a work release for atleast 1 shift while i recover. i'm still having bad symptoms today and could not go in. how can i receive a work release now?

Not from here. This is the HT public information site where volunteer docs answer questions about health conditions. It does not do direct patient consults or share information with other sites that do. If you consulted a HT doc on a pay site you need to call the help desk of that site for guidance.

Would recommend asking first at your workplace what are the requirements/procedures for a medical excuse. Your primary care doc would be best to further coordinate.
