Hi doctor, this concern is about my mother she is 50 years old and 5 years back daignoised with nodular goitre which is benign but left untreated are there any chances of it becoming cancerous im very much worried about my mother please help me?

Nodular changes in thyroid are very common, especially in women and by themselves the nodules are not a risk factor for cancer. Wish you and your mother good health!

Need to talk to your Mom and review blood tests, family history and labs. Happy to do that here but local Drs will know what is normal in India in Mom's like yours.
