Not rare: Not uncommon to have residual pain in the chest/ breast after lumpectomy and radiation perhaps due to scar tissue and nerve damage. Tell your doc about it and tell him/her if it is a constant, stable problem or if it has worsened lately. Also, make sure you get mammos as scheduled and keep notice of new lumps or masses.
