Consult your pediatrician and make certain that a firm diagnosis has been made of autism. Small doses of naltrexone have shown improvement of certain symptoms of autism. Your pediatrician will determine the correct dose based on the age and size of the child, plus the symptoms exhibited. Some autistic symptoms are not affected by naltrexone.
