Naltrexone has shown benefit in reducing certain aspects of autism (self-harm, etc.), and so far there have been studies which have not produced results showing adverse effects, especially at the dosage mentioned in your question.

Naltrexone has been shown to benefit self injurious behaviour and hyperactivity and improve attention in autism . So far the studies have only shown a slight sedative effect in some children , without any other adverse side effects .
